Onsite registration only!

Thank you for your interest in registering to the 2008 World Cancer Congress. At this stage, online pre-registration is closed but on-site registration opens as of August 27 at 2pm. A special section of the registration area is dedicated to on-site registrations and is located at the entrance of the exhibition hall in the Palexpo convention centre.

Registration fees (Swiss Francs)



No VAT will is included in the registration fees.

Full participant registration

The full participant registration fee includes:
  • Admission to the official Congress Scientific Sessions
  • Congress bag, badge and documentation, including Final Programme and Abstract CD-ROM
  • Access to the Exhibition and Poster sessions
  • Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception and Closing Ceremony
  • Lunch boxes
  • Free entrance to the Reel Lives Film Festival

Accompanying person registration

The accompanying person registration fee includes:
  • Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception and Closing Ceremony
  • A Geneva city tour
  • Free entrance to the Reel Lives Film Festival

Onsite Payment

The registration fees are payable by credit card or in cash (Swiss Francs only).
Credit card: Visa or Mastercard,
Debit cards and all other credit cards are not accepted.

Name change

Individuals who have already registered may transfer their registration to another person. The new registrant must provide written permission for the transfer from the original registrant for the registration to be charged. There is a handling fee of CHF 50 to complete the transfer.

Cancellation

As for the 1st of July 2008, no refunds will be applicable.

Badges

Badges must be worn at all time during the Congress, including the special events.

Media registration

Application for press accreditation to the World Cancer Congress is restricted to reporters working for newspapers, news services, magazines, radio and television stations, and online publications engaged in dissemination of news to the general public and the global cancer control community.

Please complete the press accreditation application form, and fax or email a scanned copy of it, together with the email confirming your registration and the supporting documents (credentials, business card, freelance materials) to: Alfonso Gomez at +41 22 809 18 06 or gomez@uicc.org.

Media registration is free for accredited press and includes all privileges of a full participant. Only media badge holders will be admitted to the Media Room.
