Richard Sullivan was raised in the Middle East and East Africa before coming back to the UK where he studied medicine at St. Marys Hospital, Paddington. After training in academic uro-oncology surgery, he joined Cancer Research UK as clinical director. After CRUK he led the emerging countries health, population and society theme at London School of Economics before joining Kings Health Partners as Chair, Cancer Policy and Global Health. At KHP he directs the Institute of Cancer Policy which focuses on global cancer health, and the Kings Conflict & Health program, particularly around NCD control in fragile countries.
