Note that invited speakers, sponsors who benefit from complimentary registrations and exhibitors will be supplied with a different link.

The steps are straightforward and corrections and amendments can be made at any stage. People who have already used the Currinda registration system for another conference will be able to use their existing record. The Currinda system is powered by the World Cancer Congress appointed agency, ASN Events. 

Unlike other systems, the registration portal will let you create an enduring profile which you can return to at any stage. Your record is continuously kept up to date with your registration details, invoices and paperwork, abstract submission, accommodation, extra details, invitation letters for visa applications, preferences and payment status. Bookmark the link so you can return when needed.

As you register online for the World Cancer Congress, you will be able to:

  • For only AU $20, hop on a bus for a half a day tour to visit some Melbourne based leading cancer institutions
  • Book your hotel accommodation in Melbourne at exclusive discounted rates
  • Be an active participant at the congress and submit an abstract during the Call for Late Breaking Abstracts (scientific study, policy and/or advocacy report, fundraising report) open from  from 29 July 2014 until 3rd October 2014.

Standard - Not a current financial member of either the UICC Member affiliates or UICC Vanguard partners

UICC Member - to qualify for this category, you must be a current UICC Member 

UICC Vanguard Partner - to qualify for this category, your organisation must be recognised as a UICC Vanguard Partner.

Student -  must be engaged in full time academic study, provide their student number on the registration application, and if asked, provide a copy of their student card as well as a letter supporting their status from the head of their department.

Discounts cannot be accumulated but the largest one can be claimed. If applicable the discount is applied after you have registered. If your discount results in a credit, it will be refunded by the way monies were received. 

*Discount on: 2012 WCC Montréal delegates / Invited Speaker's Friend / Accepted Abstract presenters – applied in the first week of June to registrations made between Feb 1st and June 9th for delegates who fit within one of these categories.

**Participants from Low and Middle Income Countries – applied to delegates from LMIC Countries who are UICC Members and have confirmed with the Delegate Services (Ms. Bree Dewberry at bd@asnevents.net.au) they have received a visa from the Australian Government to attend the conference (see information on applying for a visa and the countries affected on the web page).

For delegates registering to attend all of COSA and WCC, both conferences are offering you a reduced full registration rate. As you finish registering for one of the conferences, you will be prompted to register for the other as well. If you have already registered and paid for the WCC you will receive a refund when you register for the COSA Conference as well regardless of when you make that decision.

Terms and conditions of registrations

The following activities are included in the Full participant registration:

  • Access to all sessions including “Lunch and Learn activities”
  • Access to the Global Village
  • Invitation to the Welcome Reception and Opening Ceremony
  • Invitation to the Australian Concert, Closing Reception, Public Event and other ancillary events
  • Delegate material (including printed Final Programme if requested in advance, access to Congress Smart Phone application which includes the e-networking Platform)
  • Invitation to apply for a online Master Course 
  • Opportunity to submit an Abstract and present it at the 2014 World Cancer Congress
  • For UICC Members only: participation to UICC General Assembly, followed by UICC President's reception
  • Access to all COSA sessions on Thursday 4 December (not including the COSA Trade and Exhibition area)

The following activities are included in the Accompanying person registration:

  • Invitation to the Welcome Reception and Opening Ceremony
  • Invitation to the Australian Concert and Public Event
  • Half day city tour

PAYMENTS

During your registration process, you will be asked to make payment, however this is not required at the time of registering. You can re-visit your registration portal at anytime to make payment. Early bird rates must be made by the deadline and all payments must be completed before the Congress. Delegates from developing countries must pay their registration to obtain a visa. 

Available payment options for International and Local delegates include:

* Credit card - VISA or Master Card.  (We do not accept AMEX).
* Cheque - personal or business/employer, drawn upon an Australian bank account.
* Direct debit or Electronic funds transfer - you will be emailed banking instructions upon request. Bank details for a Direct Deposit can be found on your invoice.

All rates quoted include GST and are in Australian dollars. A Tax Invoice (the registration fee includes 10% Australian Government Goods and Services Tax - GST) is provided by email once you have registered or made a change or accommodation booking. It can also be downloaded from your registration portal.  
 

CANCELLATIONS

All cancellations must be made in writing to the Congress Delegate Services, informing Mrs Bree Dewberry at bd@asnevents.net.au

Registration cancellation before November 1st 2014 incur a $100 cancellation fee applies. After November the 1st, no refunds are possible. However a registration fee may be transferred to an unregistered delegate without charge.

Note no refunds are possible for registrations made under the ‘Exclusive Offer’ which ran until 31st January 2014.

Note that an additional fee may be charged if a hotel booking is cancelled (depending on each hotel's policy). ALL cancellations MUST be made in writing to bd@asnevents.net.au 

Changes to Details

Any changes to the registration and accommodation booking details should be made via your registration profile in the first instance, or directed in an email to the conference secretariat, who will endeavour to accommodate the request.

Insurance 

The Registration fee does not include insurance of any kind and the Delegate Services cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. Delegates are encouraged to make their own insurance arrangements to cover any loss caused by unforeseen delay, circumstance or cancellation.
