Register now and secure your participation at the 2020 Congress. The registrations fees, along with the related terms  conditions, are available here below. Please read them carefully. 

Registration Fees

What is included?

  • Application to one of the six UICC Master Courses (3-months online courses culiminating in Muscat with a workshop)*
  • Participation in one of the programme engagement opportunities before the Congress**
  • For UICC Members and Partners only: invitation to the Break-Ice-Fast and UICC General Assembly
  • For CEOs of UICC Members only: invitation to take part in the CEO programme held at the Congress and to attend the World Cancer Leaders' Summit on 19 October

Registration conditions

  • Registration fees are indicated in US dollars.
  • Registration fees are applicable if payment is received before the last day of each period mentioned here below.* 
  • Please note that special offers or discounts can't be combined.
  • Payments onsite at the Congress venue will be accepted in cash (USD / OMR) and credit card only.
  • *Low-income​ or lower-middle income countries - as per World Bank ClassificationUpper-middle income countries are not included in this price category.  
  • **Students will be asked to provide a proof of their current student status, sending a copy of their valid university student card. International student cards won't be considered as a proof.
  • Invited speakers – all confirmed speakers benefit from a complimentary registration valid until Tuesday 30 June 2020, after which date, the registration fees in force will apply.
  • Accepted abstracts – all abstract presenters should confirm their participation and register online by Friday 3 August 2020, after which date, unconfirmed presentations will be automatically withdrawn.
  • Groups (not including accompanying persons) registered by a group leader. The group leader can buy badges in bulk and provide the individual names of delegates by Friday 17 August 2020 at the latest.
  • Accompanying persons benefit from a reduced fee of US$ 200. They are entitled to attend the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit official dinners on 18 and 19 October as an accompanying person of a Summit invitee. They are also invited to attend the Congress Opening and Closing Ceremonies, as well as the cultural and social event on 20 October evening.
  • Registration for social events can only be made through the official Congress registration system accessible via the button 'Register Now' below.

*Please note that to benefit from the deal, payment or proof of payment must be received within 14 days after the promotion ends. After this date, any unpaid discounted registrations will be cancelled, and the participants will have to proceed to pay the full fees.

Cancellation and refund policy

Any cancellation or change in your registration must be notified in writing by email to the 2020 WCC appointed delegate services handled by K.I.T. Group at 2020wcc@kit-group.org.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after the Congress. Cancellations and refunds are subject to the following conditions:

  • Cancellations received before 30 June 2020: refund of fee minus a 25% administrative charge.
  • Cancellations received after 31 July 2020 – refund of fee minus a 50% administrative charge.
  • Cancellations received after 1 August 2020 – no refund.
  • If UICC decides to cancel the event, the full registration fee will be reimbursed.
  • Name changes will be accepted until Friday 14 September 2020.
  • Lost Badges: Congress badges must always be worn to gain access to the conference sessions, exhibition and social events. If a badge has been lost or forgotten and a new badge has to be reprinted, a new badge can be issued at the registration desk upon a deposit of US$ 100. If the original badge is returned at the registration desk within 24 hours the US$ 100 deposit will not be charged.
  • Reprinting your badge onsite: a US$ 20 will be charged in the event of a spelling mistake on the badge and if a reprinting is required.
  • Only applicants with fully paid registrations will be considered for Master Courses. Applicants that have not been selected for a Master Course will not be reimbursed for their Congress registration.
  • We encourage all delegates to subscribe a Travel Insurance as UICC is not liable for any medical expenses that may occur during the event.
  • In case of cancellation for any reason, UICC will not refund individual airline ticket costs. We encourage all delegates to purchased travel insurance.

Travel Grants

We would like to thank the below organisations for their support to our travel grants fund:

UICC will consider Travel Grant applications based on the following criteria:

  • Priority will be given to UICC Member Organisations (for more information on UICC membership, please click HERE). 
  • Organisations will have to be based in upper-middle-income and lower-middle-income countries, following the World Bank Classification
  • The applicant should demonstrate an active participation at the World Cancer Congress such as:  
    • full participation in a Master Course
    • And / or presenting an abstract
    • And / or presenting a case study in the Patient Group Pavilion
    • And / or speaking in one of the accepted sessions  
The Grant

Awarded travel grants will cover the following:

  • Return economy air fare to Oman on the Congress dates
  • 4-nights single room hotel accommodation in a UICC selected hotel on the Congress dates
  • Congress badge (including all of the above - What is included)
  • Visa expenses 
  • Limited amount dedicated to onsite miscellaneous expenses (ground transportation for example)
How to apply

Please send an email to Congress@uicc.org so we can send you a link to a travel grant application form. Travel grant requests will be collected and reviewed at the same time. All applicants will be contacted by 15th June at the latest to inform them on the status of their application. 

IAEA will support some Abstract travel grants

The IAEA invites project counterparts to share their experiences and good practices at the Congress, and will, through its technical cooperation programme, finance participation for a limited number of participants who meet strict criteria.
