Registration conditions

  • Registration fees are indicated in US dollars.
  • Registration fees are applicable if payment is received before the last day of each period mentioned here below.
  • Please note that special offers or discounts can't be combined.
  • Payments onsite at the congress venue will be accepted in cash (USD / OMR) and credit card only.
  • *Low and Middle Income Countries - as per World Bank ClassificationUpper Middle Income Countries are not included in this price section.  
  • **Students will be asked to provide a proof of their current student status, sending a copy of their valid university student's card. International Students cards won't be considered as a proof.
  • Invited speakers – all confirmed speakers benefit from a complimentary registration until Friday 1 June 2020. After that date, the registration fees in force will apply.
  • Accepted abstracts – all abstract presenters should confirm their participation and register online by Friday 3 August 2020. After that date, their abstract will be automatically withdrawn.
  • Groups (not including accompanying persons) registered by a group leader. The group leader can buy badges in bulk and provide the individual names of delegates by Friday 17 August 2020 at the latest
  • The accompanying persons benefit from a reduced fee at 200$US. They are entitled to attend the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit official dinner and the Gala dinner as accompanying persons of a Summit invitee as well as the Congress social events which include the Closing Receptions, the Opening Ceremony and the host evening.
  • Registration for social events can only be made through the official Congress registration system accessible via the button 'Register Now' below.

Cancellation and refund policy

Any cancellation or change in your registration must be notified in writing by email to the 2020 WCC appointed delegate services handled by K.I.T. Group at 2020wcc@kit-group.org.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after the Congress. Cancellations and refunds are subject to the following conditions:

  • Cancellations received before 31 May 2020: refund of fee minus a 25% administrative charge.
  • Cancellations received after 31 May 2020 – no refund.
  • Name changes will be accepted until Friday 14 September 2020.
  • Lost Badges: Congress badges must always be worn to gain access to the conference sessions, exhibition and social events. If a badge has been lost or forgotten and a new badge has to be reprinted, a new badge can be issued at the registration desk upon a deposit of US$ 100. If the original badge is returned at the registration desk within 24 hours the US$ 100 deposit will not be charged.
  • Reprinting your badge onsite: a US$ 20 will be charged in the event of a spelling mistake on the badge and if a reprinting is required.

Travel Grants

We would like to thank the below organisations for their support to our travel grants fund:

Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC), International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). (Should we integrate organisation which are supporting participants from its own programme like Pfizer


UICC will consider Travel Grant applications based on the following criteria:

  • Priority will be given to UICC Member Organisations (for more information on UICC membership, please click HERE). 
  • Organisations will have to be based in upper-middle-income and lower-middle-income countries, following the World Bank Classification
  • The applicant should demonstrate an active participation at the World Cancer Congress such as:  
    • full participation in a Master Course
    • And / or presenting an abstract
    • And / or presenting a case study in the Patient Group Pavilion
    • And / or speaking in one of the accepted sessions  
The Grant

Awarded travel grants will cover the following:

  • Return economy air fare to Oman on the Congress dates
  • 4-nights single room hotel accommodation in a UICC selected hotel on the Congress dates
  • Congress badge, including an invitation to the social event
  • Visa expenses 
  • Limited amount dedicated to onsite miscellaneous expenses (food and ground transportation)
How to apply

Send an email to Congress@uicc.org. After reception of your email, we will send you a link to a registration form. Please do not right back to UICC to know the status of your application. All travel grant requests will be collected and reviewed at the same time. We will contact all applicants once the selection will be finalised to let them know if they have been selected or not. 

*Please note that to benefit from the deal, payment or proof of payment must be received within 14 days after the promotion ends. After this date, any unpaid discounted registrations will be cancelled, and the participants will have to proceed to pay the full fees.
