From the airport (cointrin)
Whether you are coming by public transport or by taxi, it takes around 15 minutes (depending on traffic) to reach the CICG from Geneva International Airport.
- Bus 5: Direct from airport to CICG, bus stop Vermont
- By taxi: Taxi stands are loated immediately after exiting the airport from the Arrivals terminal.
From the station (gare cornavin)
You will need on average 10 minutes to get by bus from the Gare Cornavin to the CICG:
- Bus 5: Direct from the rear side of Gare Cornavin, get off at the stop Vermont
- Bus 8: Departs from the rear side of Gare Cornavin, get off at the stop UIT
- Tram 15: Direct from front side of the Gare Cornavin (facing the lake), get off at the stop Sismondi
- On foot: Around 20 minutes
From the motorway
Don't forget to buy your motorway sticker.
- From Lausanne: as you approach Geneva, take the exit "Genève Lac",
and continue along the lakeside . Turn right on Avenue de France, left onto Rue de Vermont, then right onto Rue de Varembé, which brings you to the CICG with available parking. - From France: Pass the border at Bardonnex and continue on the A1/E25/E62 motorway towards the airport (Aéroport). After about 10km, take the E25/E62 exit at Grand-Saconnex. Follow Route de Ferney for about 3km, then turn right on Route de Varembé, which brings you to the CICG with available parking.
