The 2020 World Cancer Congress Programme is multidisciplinary and will expose the Congress participants to a large choice of sessions, interactive debates, workshops and capacity building opportunities.

The programme will also cover the full spectrum of cancer control over a series of themes, from prevention, screening and early detection, healthcare systems, palliative & supportive care, empowerment of patients and care givers, and fundraising, all delivered in an environment conducive to dialogue and networking.

The 2020 World Cancer Congress Programme will include two new themes focused on promising cancer research & progress, and tackling priorities in different regions of the World.

All sessions within the programme will resonate with at least one of the nine targets of the World Cancer Declaration, the overall goal of which is to reduce premature deaths from cancer by 25% by 2025.

The Union for International Cancer Control will be calling for sessions proposals from the global cancer community to help shape a powerful programme

The call for sessions will be open from 26 August to 15 October
