Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly integrated into healthcare, offering significant advancements in diagnosing diseases, tailoring treatment plans, providing psychosocial support and taking on and supporting the management of administrative tasks. However, the rapid adoption of AI also introduces critical challenges, particularly concerning patient data privacy, the necessity for ongoing human oversight, and the development of robust regulatory frameworks. This debate explored the dual facets of AI in cancer control: its potential to transform care and the imperative to uphold safety and ethical standards.
