Register now and secure your participation in the 2018 Congress. The registrations fees, along with the related terms & conditions, are available here below. Please read them carefully.

Registration - Opening Hours 

The registration desks will be located on level 3 of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), the official 2018 Congress venue.

Congress exhibitors as well as participants in the Master Courses related workshops and other workshops taking place on 1 October will be able to collect their badges on the same day from 07:30 to 15:00 at the registration desks. 

The other Congress participants can take their badges or register onsite at the registration desks during the following opening hours:

Groups are invited to complete the related form and make an appointment with K.I.T. Group in view of collecting their badges:

  • on Sunday 30 September between 15:00 and 18:00
  • on Monday 1 October between 8:00 and 15:00.

Registration Fees
  • Registration fees include food (daily lunch box and coffee break) for all delegates onsite during the three Congress days; free lunch is not guaranteed for onsite registrations
  • Registration fees are indicated in US dollars
  • Registration fees are applicable if both registration and payment are received before the last day of each period mentioned here below (ie: 29 June 2018, 24:00 CET, for the first period)
  • Please note that special offers or discounts can't be combined
  • Payments onsite at the congress venue will be accepted in cash (USD / MYR) and credit card only

  • *Low-income or lower-middle income countries - as per World Bank Classification
  • **Students will be asked to provide a proof of their current student status, sending a copy of their valid university student's card. International Students cards won't be considered as a proof.
  • Invited speakers – all confirmed speakers benefit from a complimentary registration until Friday 1 June 2018. After that date, the registration fees in force will apply
  • Accepted abstracts – all abstract presenters should confirm their participation and register online by Friday 3 August 2018. After that date, their abstract will be automatically withdrawn
  • Groups (not including accompanying persons) registered by a group leader. The group leader can buy badges in bulk and provide the individual names of delegates by Friday 17 August 2018 at the latest
    Collection of all badges for groups can be arranged via K.I.T. Group leaders can make the request through
  • The accompanying persons benefit from a reduced fee at 200$US. They are entitled to attend the World Cancer Leaders Summit official dinner and the Gala dinner as accompanying persons of a Summit invitee as well as the Congress social events which include the Welcome and Closing Receptions, the Opening Ceremony and the host evening 'Malaysia in a Nutshell'. For 100$US, they can chose to attend the Congress social events only. In both cases, they can book any institutional tour of their interest (involves extra cost)
  • Registration for social events can only be made through the official Congress registration system accessible via the button 'Register Now' above.

Registration Terms & Conditions, including cancellation & refund policy

1. Access

A. Full delegate badge (not applicable to Accompanying persons category)

  • Access to all sessions including the satellite sessions
  • Access to the Global Village
  • Access to the Welcome Reception, Opening Ceremony and Closing Reception
  • Access to Congress Smart Phone application which includes the e-networking platform
  • Access to the social event organised by the Local Host Committee
  • Access to exclusive events (by invitation only)

B. Accompanying person badge

  • Invitation to the Welcome Reception followed by Opening Ceremony on 1st October
  • Invitation to the social and cultural event "Malaysia in a nutshell" on 3rd October
  • Invitation tot eh Closing reception on 4th October
2.   Cancellation and refund policy

Any cancellation or change in your registration must be notified in writing by email to the 2018 WCC appointed delegate services handled by K.I.T. Group at

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after the Congress. Cancellations and refunds are subject to the following conditions:

  • Registration cancellations before Thursday 31 May 2018
  • Cancellations received before 31 May 2018: refund of fee minus a 25% administrative charge
  • Cancellations received after 31 May 2018 – no refund
  • Name changes will be accepted until Friday 14 September 2018
  • Lost Badges: Congress badges must be worn at all times to gain access to the conference sessions, exhibition and social events. If a badge has been lost or forgotten and a new badge has to be reprinted, a new badge can be issued at the registration desk upon a deposit of US$ 100. If the original badge is returned at the registration desk within 24 hours the US$ 100 deposit will not be charged
  • Reprinting your badge onsite: a US$ 20 will be charged in the event of a spelling mistake on the badge and if a reprinting is required
3. Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits for Malaysian based cancer & health professionals

The 2018 World Cancer Congress has been approved for a maximum of 20 MYCPD Credits for Malaysian health professionals attending the conference. 

Malaysian health professionals will be able to download the dedicated MMA application and scan the related QR code at the registration desks to receive the 20 MYCPD credits.

Travel Grants

Please note that the Travel Grants selection has now been completed and no additional grants are available. For further information please contact Mrs Céline Francina, Congress & Events Specialist at UICC at

Eligibility criteria:

  1. Affiliated to a UICC member organisation
  2. Organisation registered in a low income​ or lower-middle income country as per World Bank Classification
  3. Active participation in the Congress programme such as:
    • Having submitted a successful abstract with a high score. Please note that the accepted late breaking abstracts have not been considered for scholarships.
    • Selected for a UICC Master Course (launched in March 2018)
    • Submitted a Collaborative Initiative for one of the UICC member regional meetings
