Prof. Folakemi T. Odedina, PhD, Bpharm is an internationally recognized cancer researcher, global oncology leader, and innovator advancing equitable cancer care through science, technology, and community partnership. She serves as Professor of Hematology/Oncology and Quantitative Health Sciences and Enterprise Deputy Director for Global Oncology at the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center.

A highly funded and widely published scientist with more than 30 years of research leadership, Prof. Odedina has pioneered transformative approaches to reducing cancer disparities through inclusive clinical trials, implementation science, and precision community health. Her recent scholarship is redefining cancer care through the innovative application of artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR), including the development of immersive, patient-centered technologies that enhance cancer education, clinical decision support, survivorship, and equitable access to care for underserved populations.

Prof. Odedina is the Founder of the internationally acclaimed Prostate Cancer Transatlantic Consortium (CaPTC) and leads the iCCaRE for Consortium, bringing together global partners to eliminate cancer disparities through collaborative science, innovation, and policy. She has mentored hundreds of investigators worldwide and continues to shape the future of global oncology through visionary leadership and a steadfast commitment to ensuring that scientific innovation benefits every community.
