Dr. Marcus Kwok is a Hong Kong-born television personality, medical doctor, professional emcee, and motivational speaker. With a unique multicultural background—his father is Chinese-Indonesian and his mother is from Beijing—Dr. Kwok is fluent in five languages: English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian, and Japanese.
Dr. Kwok spent his childhood in Indonesia from the ages of 8 to 13 before relocating to Melbourne, Australia, where he completed both his secondary and tertiary education. He graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2005. Following graduation, he served as an Emergency Department physician in Melbourne for four years, gaining extensive frontline clinical experience before returning to Hong Kong to pursue a career in the media.
Since joining TVB in 2009, Dr. Kwok has established himself as a well-recognised television actor and presenter. He has appeared in numerous acclaimed television dramas and hosted a wide range of television programmes. He is best known as the long-standing host of “Dolce Vita” on TVB Pearl, the network’s flagship English-language lifestyle programme, a role he has held for over a decade.
Today, Dr. Kwok is a full-time television personality, keynote speaker, and brand ambassador, collaborating with leading local and international organisations across the healthcare, wellness, lifestyle, and corporate sectors. Leveraging his medical expertise and engaging communication style, he regularly delivers keynote presentations, moderates conferences, hosts corporate events, and contributes medical articles and health education content.
