As preparations continue for the World Cancer Congress 2026 in Hong Kong, the Congress is sharing new updates, with growing registration numbers and additional programme highlights confirmed.
Registrations on the rise
The number of registered participants is increasing steadily. Prospective delegates are encouraged to sign up now to secure discounted early registration fees and guarantee their place at the Congress.
Spotlight on IARC sessions
The Congress is strengthening its collaboration with the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), with a series of sessions led by IARC experts featured in the programme.
These sessions will explore key issues in cancer prevention, early detection, and care, including:
- From evidence to action: implementation research lessons in cancer prevention and early detection across diverse health systems, with insights from India, Malaysia, Slovenia, and Sweden
- Inequalities in cancer care: patterns of care studies evaluating access to and quality of oncology and palliative care for adult cancers and childhood cancers in LMICs, with insights from France, India, and Iraq
Participants are invited to explore additional IARC-led sessions and the full programme here.
Global village: a hub for connection
The Global Village will once again serve as a central space for interaction and engagement. Positioned at the heart of the Congress, it offers organisations an opportunity to raise visibility, connect with participants, and showcase their work. As a key networking hub, it provides a dynamic environment for collaboration and exchange throughout the event.

Final design will be based on the number of exhibitors and activities held in the exhibition area
