Goić Borojević

Social Worker and Master’s in Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Professor of the Department of Oncology and Hematology at the School of Medicine, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and researcher at the University’s Center for Public Policy. Executive Director of the National Cancer Forum and the Center for Cancer Prevention and Control (CECAN). She previously served as a Senator and Member of Parliament for the Region of Magallanes and the Chilean Antarctic, where she chaired the Health Committee and authored more than 50 laws currently in force, including Chile’s National Cancer Law, developed in collaboration with civil society. She is also President of TODAS Foundation, an organization that promotes and supports the development of women’s leadership through collaboration.
