Call for abstracts for the World Cancer Congress 2026 in Hong Kong now open
UICC has opened the call for abstract submissions for the upcoming World Cancer Congress 2026 in Hong Kong, 24-26 September. They are welcome from across the cancer control field – including researchers, practitioners, advocates, policymakers, and people with lived experience. The deadline for submissions is 1 April 2026.
Abstracts are an essential part of UICC's World Cancer Congress, offering insights into innovations in research, prevention, service delivery, and treatment, as well as successful advocacy, fundraising, and health awareness campaigns.
Selected abstracts will be presented as part of the official Congress programme. Authors will have the opportunity to share their work with a global audience and contribute directly to discussions that inform policy and practice.
All submissions will be reviewed by the Congress Abstract Committee, which includes internationally recognised experts working across multiple domains of cancer control. Abstracts will be assessed on clarity, relevance, originality, and contribution to the field.
