SESSION DATE AND TIME
Please consult the Congress Programme for the date and time of your session. All sessions are subject to minor adjustments in start time (max +/- 15 minutes). Please always refer to the Programme for the very latest schedule.
If there has been a change in circumstances and you are no longer available to participate at Congress, it is imperative that you notify your session organiser, with copy to John Lawlor at [email protected] as soon as possible.
REQUIRED PRESENTATION FORMAT
If you will present slides, please note that your presentation must be in PowerPoint 16:9 Landscape (horizontal) (*.ppt or *.pptx). PDF is not accepted, and Keynote, Open Office and Prezi are not supported. We encourage you to use the WCC 2026 PowerPoint template. You can modify the template by adding your organisation logo and/or background graphics. We highly recommend limiting the number of slides and avoiding text-heavy slides.
Your presentation must include the following elements:
• Your presentation should reflect the content of the original session submission
• Title and author name on the first slide
• Followed with a slide for disclosure of any Conflicts of Interest that could affect your presentation
It is not compulsory to use slides. If you will not be using any slides, please let John Lawlor know at [email protected] so that we avoid sending your reminders.

PREPARING YOUR PRESENTATION
The congress’ official language is English, therefore all materials must be in English. If English is not your native language, you may consider asking a friend or colleague to proofread your presentation.
You will be speaking to an international audience, with a mix of native and non-native English speakers. With that in mind, please be prepared to speak clearly and at a reasonable pace. We recommend you rehearse your presentation a number of times before Congress.
CONGRESS ONLINE PLATFORM
The Congress online platform will open as and from 1 September. Here you will have the possibility to access the event content and connect with other delegates in advance. All congress attendees, including speakers, will receive their access to the Congress online platform on 1 September.
